We hope this blog post reaches you in good health and good spirits.  Our NAFA staff and coaches are staying focused on the health and betterment of our community, and we have some great resources to share – remote fencing, mental skills training, and more!  Read on for details.

Remote Fencing Classes

Many of you are already back to training, enjoying our remote fencing classes.  If you are not yet there, come!  We want to see everybody there!  Current members can simply email for the Zoom link and password.

If you are not a current member, you can register online here, or contact us at info@nyfencing.com.

Equipment Pick Up

If you are currently taking classes, but you are missing your weapon because it has been sitting lonely, locked up at the club, we are offering two days this week when the club will be opened for your access.

This Thursday, April 30th, and Sunday, May 3rd, between 1:00 and 3:00pm, our super-member and club mom, Nina, will be there to let you in.  Please email to let us know when you would like to come by so that we can space out traffic in and out of the club.  Of course, we expect everyone to adhere to strict social distancing practices, and hand sanitizer will be available.

Mental Skills Training

We are super-excited to announce that our partners at SharperMind Training have put together a new online course, available here. Those of you who participated in the SharperMind clinic last fall know how awesome it is.  Those of you who missed it, now is your chance to check it out!

Distance Learning Support

Lockdown going on too long, and old solutions aren’t working? Losing your mind at home? Learning going off the rails?  We got you covered.
NAFA is excited to be part of a new Distance Learning Support Team with Essay Intensive’s Sara Nolan.
